Description

American Traveler is hiring a Travel RN for Neuro ICU/SICU days shift requiring previous travel experience and 2 years of trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU experience in a Trauma Level One setting.

Details

• Neuro ICU/SICU unit caring for trauma, surgical, and neurological ICU patients
• Day shift schedule, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Rotating holiday coverage required
• 48-hour work weeks accepted for interested candidates

Requirements

• Active NY RN license required at time of consideration
• BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA or RQI required
• Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience in trauma, surgical, and neurological patient populations required
• Trauma Level One experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Competency test required within 24 hours of consideration, with 2 attempts to pass

Additional Information

• Navy blue scrubs required
• Local candidates are not accepted from Albany, Columbia, Dutchess, Fulton, Greene, Montgomery, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Ulster, Warren, and Washington counties
• More than 3 call-outs within a 13-week period will result in contract termination, with make-up shifts required within 6 weeks
• No blocked scheduling permitted
• RTO must be requested at time of consideration
• Flu vaccination required, with only medical exemptions accepted
