Assignment Overview

We are seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in a dynamic acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have expertise in managing complex trauma and critical care patients, with proficiency in vent management and medication titration.

  • Estimated gross weekly pay package: $3060 (negotiable)
  • Charting System: EPIC

Responsibilities

  • Manage vent and critical care equipment
  • Titrate medication according to patient needs
  • Provide care for complex trauma patients, including head, chest, and ortho trauma
  • Utilize CRRT, EVDs, and ICP monitoring
  • Assess and interpret EKG rhythms
  • Collaborate with hospital team including hospitalists and intensivists

Qualifications

Required:

  • Active IL license or confirmation of application
  • BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
  • Comfortable with vent management & medication titration
  • Experience with arterial and central lines
  • Must know EKG rhythms and assess for intervention needs

Preferred:

  • Experience with CRRT, EVD/ICP
  • PALS certification
