Join a leading acute-care hospital as a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Telemetry in Ranson, WV. This contract position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a focus on patient care and advanced monitoring techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Telemetry unit.
• Monitor patients' vital signs and cardiac rhythms using Phillips Cardiac Monitors.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including IV therapy and ventilator management.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Participate in patient education and support family involvement in care.

Requirements:

• Current RN license in the state of West Virginia.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required; NIHSS preferred.
• Ability to work rotating weekends and holidays.
• Previous travel experience and adherence to submission requirements.
• COVID-19 vaccination required; exemptions must be documented.

Unit Details:

• Telemetry unit with a total of 10 beds (5 ICU & 5 Telemetry).
• Patient ratios of 1:3-5 depending on acuity.
• 12-hour shifts with a requirement for 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week schedule.
• Common diagnoses include trauma, COPD, and post-surgical patients.

Travelers must provide their own navy blue scrubs, maintain a neat appearance, and adhere to grooming standards. This role requires a positive attitude and a willingness to work collaboratively with the healthcare team.
