Job Summary:
Intermediate Care Unit Registered Nurse in Brighton, Colorado. This position involves performing independent nursing functions and delegated medical tasks in accordance with accepted practice standards as defined by the state Board of Nursing. The role includes assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care, as well as providing health teaching, counseling, and restorative therapy to patients within an acute care setting.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: ASN (Associate of Science in Nursing) - Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing; current license as a Registered Nurse in the state of practice; BLS (American Heart Association); ACLS; NIH.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's degree of Nursing; TNCC certification.
  • Additional Information: May be required to float to other departments within scope of competency and qualifications based on operational needs. May also be required to be placed on-call during scheduled shifts. The position involves executing delegated medical functions, providing patient assessment, health teaching, counseling, documentation, resource utilization, and supervision as applicable.
