Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 10 Experience: 2 Years Required License: State License Required Certifications: BLS, ARRT R Must-Have: - Experience with Angiograms - Experience with Nephograms - Experience with Venous Access Description: The position requires an Interventional Radiology Technologist. The technologist will work in a fast-paced environment. They will support Interventional Radiologists and perform a variety of procedures. Procedures include cerebral angiography, stroke interventions, and various biopsies. Additional procedures may involve venous access for ports and dialysis. Experience with contrast and special procedures in Interventional Radiology is preferred. Technologists should be comfortable with various imaging modalities, including C-Arm. Call is required 5 to 7 days per month. This position does not require floating to other units. The facility is a Level II Trauma Center. Professional behavior and sterile technique are essential at all times. Overall, the role demands strong technical skills and a commitment to patient care.
