Description

American Traveler is hiring a Angio/IR RN for a Level I trauma center requiring critical care angio/IR experience and ACLS/BLS certifications.

Details

• Work in the Angiography/Interventional Radiology unit located in the Heart and Vascular Tower
• 3 angiography labs including 2 dedicated IR labs and 1 hybrid OR
• 1:1 patient ratios
• Team staffing includes Lead Tech, RN, ARRT/RTR, and RCIS with ideal teams of 2 techs and 2 RNs
• Equipment used includes IVUS, Shockwave, Angio Jet, and Jet Stream
• Documentation completed in EPIC Cupid
• 4x10-hour shift schedule with on-call requirements
• Shift hours from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• Critical care and Angio/IR experience required, including stroke and trauma care
• ICU or ER experience required
• Critical care drip/gtt management skills required
• Experience with procedures such as Permcath, Port Placement, Thrombectomy, Atherectomy, TVAR, TIPS, EVAR, PE, Stroke, and Trauma care required
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care in a Level 1 Trauma Center and Certified Stroke Center
• High acuity patient population
• Required uniform: royal blue and black scrubs for RNs
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted
