Join a leading acute-care hospital as an RN in the Interventional Radiology department. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a diverse team, providing care to both adult and pediatric patients across a wide spectrum of radiology exams and diagnoses.

Facility Overview:

• Level I Trauma Designation
• Teaching Hospital
• Chest Pain Center
• Stroke Center

Department Information:

• Average patients/day: 50-60 in work-up and recovery
• Minimum Years of Experience required: 1 year
• First-time travelers are welcome

Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:

Care for adults and pediatrics from ED, ICUs, nursing units, and outpatients.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• BLS
• ACLS

Skills Required:

Candidates should be confident in their clinical skill sets, capable of working in a fast-paced, high patient acuity environment. Good communication skills and a helpful, team-oriented attitude are strongly preferred.

Support within the Department:

All departments have a lead tech, modality supervisor, and Imaging Manager, fostering a collaborative environment with diverse experience levels, from new graduates to long-tenured teammates.

Technology/Equipment:

• EMR: EPIC
• Department-specific Equipment: iSTAT, POC

Orientation:

• Facility tour and departmental introductions
• 5 days departmental orientation, flexible based on needs

Scheduling:

• No rotations between weekends and weekdays; travelers remain on days per contract
• Call is fairly rotated among full-time, part-time, PRN, and traveler teammates
• Holiday coverage expected unless approved off in advance
• Travelers work the same shift and times as agreed upon in the contract
