Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after interventional radiology procedures.
• Monitor patient status and vital signs, ensuring safety and comfort throughout procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields, assist with instrumentation, and coordinate imaging support.
• Collaborate with radiologists, technologists, and anesthesia teams for seamless, efficient workflow.
• Administer sedation and medications according to protocol and physician orders.
• Educate patients and families regarding procedures, post-procedure care, and discharge instructions.
• Document all care accurately in accordance with policy and regulatory guidelines.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, demonstrating confidence in a fast-paced procedural environment.

Desired Qualifications:

• Current Registered Nurse license (unencumbered)
• Minimum of 2 years’ recent experience in Interventional Radiology or a high-acuity procedural setting
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
• Strong knowledge of radiology equipment, sterile technique, and sedation protocols
• Excellent communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Flexibility to adapt to changing procedure schedules and varying patient needs
