Job Details
- Schedule: Days shift, 10 hours per day, minimum of 40 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 12 months of current interventional vascular/IR lab/cardiac catheterization experience, scrub, circulate, and monitor experience required, Cardiac Catheterization Lab (CCL) experience in a hospital or medical center setting required, current or prior experience supporting Operating Room procedures required, Iowa Radiology license highly preferred (considering licensing candidates with issuance timelines between 48 hours to 4 weeks), ARRT (Registered Technologist in Radiography) certification required, ARRT (CVI or VI) highly preferred, RCIS/CCI certification nice to have, Drivers License document required, AHA/Active American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred, level I trauma experience preferred, first-time travelers welcomed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Level I trauma experience, ARRT (CVI or VI) certification, certification from the American Registry of Radiology Technologists, Iowa Radiology license
- Additional Information: The position involves approximately 25 cases per day covering both ILH and IMMC facilities, with most emergencies occurring at IMMC. The call schedule is every third evening and every third weekend, from 7 PM Friday through 7 AM Monday. Call back is at a 1.5x multiplier with a minimum of 2 hours. The unit expects work on 1-2 of the upcoming summer holidays unless the unit is closed. The precepting rate is $6 per hour.
