This role involves caring for high-risk deliveries, postpartum patients, and assisting with neonatal care, with a focus on supporting diverse patient needs, including substance withdrawal and high-risk pregnancies.

Job Details

• Position Description: L&D/PP Nurse working a 12-hour night shift schedule; scheduled to work a minimum of 36 hours per week from 10/26/2026 to 01/25/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Active certifications in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP); at least 2 years of clinical experience; licensed to submit credentials; must have 2-3 years of experience in the specialty area.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior travel experience is preferred.
• Responsibilities: Assist in managing high-risk deliveries, postpartum care, neonatal assessments, and potential emergencies; circulate during C-section procedures; help with intake, stocking supplies, and supporting patient care tasks.
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP.
• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours weekly, from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, including four weekend shifts within a 4-week schedule.
• Additional Information: Candidates must have 2-3 years of experience; float to postpartum or L&D units may be required; bilingual Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred; the unit is equipped with fetal monitoring and interacts with Cerner EMR system.
