Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a 13-week travel assignment requiring 2+ years of L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby experience.

Details

• LDRP unit providing antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and neonatal care
• Day shift schedule from 7am to 7pm
• 13-week assignment length
• Flexible to float to other units based on facility needs

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required
• AHCA required for FL placement
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
• PALS required, can be obtained within 30 days of start if needed
• AWHONN certification preferred, can be completed onsite
• 2+ years of recent experience in L&D, postpartum, nursery, and Mother/Baby required
• No certifications may expire within first 30 days of start
• Valid driver's license and US SSN required for consideration
• No employment gaps of 90+ days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Provide shift accountability for safe delivery of obstetrical nursing care using the Nursing Process
• Demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in care planning
• Delegate patient care priorities and provide direction and supervision of assigned personnel
• Maintain clinical competencies through continuing education
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Not eligible if previously worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• RTO requests must be less than one week
