Job Description

Thrive Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Thornton, Colorado.

Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN)

Unit Information

The Labor & Delivery unit features a total of 14 labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum (LDRP) beds, along with 2 operating rooms (ORs). The team comprises approximately 60 staff members dedicated to providing quality care.

Staffing Details

  • Day Shift: 1 Charge RN, 2-3 Labor & Delivery RNs, and 2-3 Postpartum RNs
  • Night Shift: 1 Charge RN, 2-3 Labor & Delivery RNs, and 2-3 Postpartum RNs

Patient Ratios

  • Labor & Delivery: 1:1 to 1:2 (maximum)
  • Postpartum: 3:1 per AWHONN guidelines

Equipment and Technology

  • Type of Equipment: Beacon
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR): Meditech / CPN

Qualifications

Skill Set Requirements

Must Have:

  • Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor & Delivery RN experience
  • BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM - C or AWHONN certifications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior Meditech experience
  • Postpartum experience is highly preferred
