Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in Mayfield, KY, requiring OB/L&D experience and multiple certifications including NRP and ACLS.

Details

Labor and Delivery unit within an acute care hospital setting
8-bed Labor & Delivery unit operating under AWHONN patient ratio standards
Patient population includes OB, nursery, and occasional gynecological surgery and cosmetic surgery patients
Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Every other weekend required
Floating required on an as-needed basis
On-call required on an as-needed basis
Documents required for consideration: Social Security number and date of birth
EMR: Meditech

Requirements

Active RN license valid in Kentucky (KY state license or compact license) required
Required certifications (AHA): ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS
Required certifications: AWHONN, HWC
All required certifications must be in hand prior to start
Minimum 1 year of OB/L&D nursing experience required
Charge nurse experience required

Additional Information

Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel rate
Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
