Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery night shift position in Mayfield, KY, requiring at least 1 year of OB/L&D experience and multiple active certifications.

Details

Labor and Delivery unit within a 107-bed, Joint Commission-accredited acute care hospital
8-bed L&D unit serving an OB, nursery, and occasional gynecological surgery and cosmetic surgery patient population
Patient ratios follow AWHONN Standards
Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Every other weekend required, with additional weekend coverage as needed
On-call required as needed
Floating required as needed
EMR: MediTech
13-week contract

Requirements

Active RN license in KY or a Compact state currently in hand
Required certifications: ACLS, AWHONN, BLS, HWC, NRP, and PALS — all AHA-issued and must be obtained prior to start
Minimum 1 year of OB/L&D nursing experience required
Charge nurse experience required
SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
Any color scrubs are acceptable; casual wear is not permitted
Candidates must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
