**Exciting Opportunity for RN - Labor and Delivery (L&D)** **Job Description:** - **Location:** North Austin Medical Center, 4th Floor - **Position Type:** Rapid Response - RN L&D, Day and Night Shifts - **Schedule:** 7A-7P; Alternating Weekends; No Call Requirements - **Duration:** 6 Weeks - **Patient Volume:** Ready for 1,000+ deliveries a month **Unit Overview:** - **Bed Capacity:** 32 - **Staff Count:** 150 - **Staffing Structure:** - **Day Shift:** 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Co-Charge Nurse, RNs for 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio - **Night Shift:** 1 Charge Nurse, 1 Co-Charge Nurse, RNs for 1:1 or 1:2 patient ratio **Required Certifications:** - BLS - ACLS - NRP - AWHONN (must be included in submission packet) **Essential Experience:** - SVE Competency - C-Section Circulation - Minimum 2 years nursing experience in Labor and Delivery **Preferred Qualifications:** - Internal Monitor Placement Competency - Previous HCA Assignment/Employment - Experience in Level IV Unit (high volume unit) **Common Procedures:** - SVD (Spontaneous Vaginal Delivery) - Cerclages - C-Sections - TOLAC (Trial of Labor After Cesarean) **Ideal Candidate Profile:** - Team player with a positive attitude - Adaptable and eager to collaborate with a diverse team **Dress Code:** - Scrub Color: Navy Blue - Acceptable Attire: Solid Blue, Black, or Grey Sweatshirts - Unacceptable Attire: T-Shirts **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
