We are seeking a dedicated Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) to join our team at a leading acute-care hospital in Baltimore, MD. This contract position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, providing exceptional care to mothers and newborns. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide care to patients during labor and delivery, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and baby.
• Monitor fetal heart rates and maternal vital signs, responding to any changes in condition.
• Assist with procedures and interventions as necessary, including administering medications and performing assessments.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.

Requirements:

• C-EFM certification through NCC at the time of submittal.
• Current BLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience preferred (2 years with strong experience may be accepted).
• Scrub experience and Mother-Baby experience preferred; must be willing to float if qualified.
• Charge experience and Cerner experience are preferred.
• Must have completed at least 1 travel assignment.
• Call required - 2 shifts per 6-week schedule; every other weekend.
• This facility requires that all employees have the Flu vaccine.
