Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) Travel Assignment – Issaquah, WA

Travel Labor & Delivery RN opportunity in Issaquah, Washington, with night shifts in a high-acuity women’s health unit. Bring your obstetric nursing experience to a well-supported team caring for labor, delivery, postpartum, antepartum, and triage patients in the Pacific Northwest.

Job Details

• Position: Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
• Employment Type: Travel Nursing Assignment
• Location: Issaquah, WA area
• Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Contract Length: 26 weeks
• Start Date: 09/14/2026
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 – $2,270
• Unit Focus: Labor & Delivery, triage, low-risk antepartum, and postpartum support
• Patient Population: Adolescents, infants, and adults
• Floating: May include Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set

Job Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in hand at time of submission
• Compact RN license accepted
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Travel nursing experience required
• Epic charting experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate
• ACLS preferred
• Must provide 2 professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Strong clinical background in obstetric nursing, triage, and delivery care
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented healthcare environment

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, compassionate care to patients in labor, preterm labor, and postpartum recovery
• Assist with high-risk and routine deliveries, including circulating and scrubbing for C-sections as needed
• Support antepartum, triage, and low-risk Labor & Delivery patients
• Monitor and manage therapies such as magnesium sulfate, insulin, and heparin infusions
• Administer blood and blood products and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Perform fetal monitoring, sterile vaginal exams, and other obstetric nursing procedures
• Support epidural management, pain control, and postpartum recovery care
• Collaborate closely with physicians, anesthesia, and the interdisciplinary care team
• Float to related units based on skill set and patient care needs
• Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold high standards of patient safety
