• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,160 - $2,270

• Float Requirement: Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse license required; compact license must be in hand at submission
• Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery nursing experience required
• Prior travel nurse experience required; first-time travelers are not accepted
• Epic charting experience required
• Current BLS, FHM, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate certifications required
• ACLS preferred
• Strong background in obstetric, perinatal, and high-risk delivery care
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, high-acuity women’s health environment

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care for labor, preterm labor, and obstetric patients
• Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries and complex maternal cases
• Circulate for C-sections and assist with OB-GYN, pre-op, post-op, and scrub duties as needed
• Support low-risk antepartum, low-risk labor & delivery, couplet care, and transition nursery care based on unit needs
• Perform triage of obstetrical patients and monitor fetal status
• Administer and manage blood products, epidurals, PCA pumps, syringe pumps, heparin, insulin, and magnesium sulfate
• Maintain safe, compassionate care while collaborating closely with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Adapt to floating assignments within the care continuum according to skill set
