Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position requiring 2 years of L&D experience and current Cerner proficiency.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit caring for females of childbearing years including patients pregnant from 17 weeks gestation through delivery
• Patient activity includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op, triage, and deliveries (vaginal and C-section)
• Scheduled procedures include C-sections and external cephalic versions
• Common equipment includes fetal monitors with Cerner and Fetalink documentation
• Day shift schedule with 3x12hr shifts
• 9-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active DC RN license required, no pending licenses accepted
• Current BLS and ACLS certification (AHA only)
• NRP certification required
• AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience in a US hospital setting required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• National background screen including OIG, EPLS, and NSO within 90 days required for consideration
• Flu and COVID vaccination or declination form required for consideration
• Current license verification through Nursys and Board of Nursing required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide direct patient care across the labor and delivery continuum including triage, admissions, labor support, and post-delivery care
• This is a rapid start position requiring availability to begin within 7 days of offer
• Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
