Description

American Traveler is hiring a Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift assignment requiring 2 years of L&D experience and an active Minnesota RN license.

Details

• Labor and Delivery unit setting
• Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 1900-0730)
• Every 3rd weekend required
• Epic charting system preferred
• Triage and circulating skills utilized, with circulating preferred

Requirements

• Active Minnesota RN license in hand or proof of Minnesota license application required
• 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
• OR, Antepartum, and Triage experience preferred
• 3 years of High Risk OB charge experience preferred
• Travel experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, FHM, and NRP required
• AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate certifications preferred

Additional Information

• Holiday coverage required as needed by the facility
• Must complete required lab work within 48 hours of signing contract
• Minnesota Livescan fingerprinting required in person on the Monday prior to the scheduled start date, applicable to all travelers regardless of residency
• Maximum of 7 days RTO permitted, with no RTO allowed during the first 2 weeks of the assignment
• Must reside more than 25 miles from the facility to be eligible for consideration
• Former permanent staff must be separated from the facility for at least 9 months before returning as a traveler
