Job Summary for L&D RN (Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse) - Pacific Campus
- Location: Pacific Campus, Pavilion for Women and Children (less than 1 mile from Colby Campus)
- Unit: Labor & Delivery with comprehensive maternity services, Level II NICU, Level III high-risk perinatal care
- Start Date: ASAP
- Minimum Experience: 2 years L&D RN experience required
- First-time Travelers Accepted: Yes
- Weekend Requirement: Yes
- Float Requirement: Yes, to Postpartum
- Certifications Required: BCLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate or Relias Fetal Monitoring
- Call Requirement: None
- Local Candidates: Not accepted
- RTO (Requested Time Off): Must be included at submission; restrictions apply
- Guaranteed Hours: May be called off for 1, 12-hour shift per 2-week period
- Unit Details:
- 19 labor & delivery beds
- 10 antepartum beds
- 30 postpartum beds
- 3 operating rooms (ORs)
- 2 PACUs
- 7-bay triage
- High acuity, high volume (ideally 200+ deliveries; open to 100–200 deliveries)
- Staffing ratios: 1:1 labor, 1:3 couplets postpartum (with CNA support), 1:2–3 antepartum
- Triage: 3 RNs/shift
- Support: Surgical techs, CNAs, delivering providers, CRNAs, Health Unit Coordinators on site 24/7
- Facility Type: Level II Trauma Center (Pacific + Colby = 571 beds)
- Scrub Color: Any (except reddish orange)
- Charting: EPIC
- Parking: Paid by facility
Med Ninjas Job ID #20579. Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
