Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Nurse in ISSAQUAH, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery Department at a healthcare facility. The position requires coordinating and assisting with high-risk deliveries and obstetrical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the labor process.

Job Details:

  • Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
  • Required Qualifications: Valid compact state license, at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, certifications including BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and ACLS (preferred).
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience attending all deliveries, high-risk deliveries, and knowledge of obstetrical procedures and equipment.
  • Float: Yes, candidates may be expected to float to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set.
  • Additional Information:
    • Must have prior charge experience and experience with Epic charting system.
    • Be able to assist with high-risk delivery procedures such as administering blood products, cardioversion, epidural and PCA pump management, and wound care.
    • Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients with diagnoses such as preterm labor and labor complications.
    • Ability to work in a busy unit with multiple patient rooms and beds, supporting adolescents, infants, and adults.
