Job Summary: Labor and Delivery Nurse in ISSAQUAH, Washington. This role involves providing specialized care in the Labor and Delivery Department at a healthcare facility. The position requires coordinating and assisting with high-risk deliveries and obstetrical procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort throughout the labor process.
Job Details:
Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Valid compact state license, at least 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery, certifications including BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and ACLS (preferred).
Preferred Qualifications: Experience attending all deliveries, high-risk deliveries, and knowledge of obstetrical procedures and equipment.
Float: Yes, candidates may be expected to float to Post-Partum and NICU based on skill set.
Additional Information:
Must have prior charge experience and experience with Epic charting system.
Be able to assist with high-risk delivery procedures such as administering blood products, cardioversion, epidural and PCA pump management, and wound care.
Demonstrate proficiency in caring for patients with diagnoses such as preterm labor and labor complications.
Ability to work in a busy unit with multiple patient rooms and beds, supporting adolescents, infants, and adults.
