Job Summary:
Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Labor and Delivery (L&D) is sought for a healthcare organization located in Thornton, Colorado. The position involves providing comprehensive care to patients during labor, delivery, and postpartum periods. This role offers an opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a fast-paced environment, utilizing advanced equipment and technology.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Night shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, at least 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor and Delivery (L&D) RN experience, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior Meditech experience, postpartum care experience.
• Additional Information: Unit features 14 labor and delivery beds and 2 operating rooms. Staff consists of 1 charge RN, 2-3 L&D RNs, and 2-3 postpartum RNs per shift, with patient ratios ranging from 1:1 to 1:2 for L&D patients and up to 3:1 for postpartum patients. Typical procedures include satisfactions, C-sections, vaginal assisted deliveries, and D&Cs. The team is known for being adaptable, flexible, and consistent, fostering a supportive work environment.
