Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Radius Rule: 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated

 

**Driver's license required at submittal and will be used to determine if candidate is outside 50 miles.**.

**Fingernail policy: Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care- refusal to remove nails will lead to termination of contract.

* * RN's - Pass/Fail exam on Friday during orientation.

OPEN BOOK exam on skills learned - they are given all necessary resources to pass.

Must receive a 90% to pass or they will be terminated * *.

Department: LDRP RN.

*Certifications Required: BLS, NRP*.

Minimum 3 years of labor and delivery experience.

*400 births a year.

- # of L&D Beds: 15 LDRP beds.

- # of Postpartum beds: 15 LDRP beds.

- Do you follow AWHONN guidelines for ratios?: 1:3, 1:1 for laboring patients.

- Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Obstetrics, post-partum, antepartum, post-surgical GYN, pregnancy with HTN or diabetes.

- Are RNs required to titrate drips?: Yes.

- Common titratable &/or set rate drips: Pitocin, Mag, Procardia.
