Job Summary
Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in Issaquah, Washington. This role involves providing specialized maternal and neonatal care in a high-volume labor and delivery department, supporting obstetric, post-partum, and neonatal patients. Candidates must possess the clinical expertise and certifications required to deliver quality care in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum 48 hours per week, starting on 09/14/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Two years of labor and delivery nursing experience, active valid license with a compact endorsement, certifications including Basic Life Support (BLS), Fundamentals of Hand Hygiene (FHM), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), Association of Women's Health, Obstetric and Neonatal Nurses (AWHONN) Intermediate, and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) preferred.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with blood and blood products administration, high-risk obstetrics, GYN surgeries, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) skill set, and familiarity with electronic charting systems, particularly Epic.
• Certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, ACLS (preferred).
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include attending all deliveries, managing high-risk obstetric cases, performing special procedures like cardioversion, administering medications such as magnesium sulfate and insulin, maintaining sterile procedures, and utilizing specialized equipment including epidural and PCA pumps. Candidates may be required to float between nearby sister facilities based on skill set and operational needs.
