Job Summary:
Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) position located in Riverside, California. This role entails providing comprehensive maternity care within a busy Labor and Delivery department, with an emphasis on managing labor, fetal monitoring, and postpartum patient care. The assignment is scheduled to commence on August 17, 2026, and involves night shifts with a minimum of 48 hours per week.

Job Details:

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 48 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Certifications in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP), and AWHONN Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM). Candidates must have at least 1 year of experience in Labor and Delivery, with previous experience in fetal monitoring, couplet care, and labor management.
Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of over 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience, transition nurse experience, and baby catching skills.
Additional Information: The unit includes 11 labor beds, 4 obstetric evaluation beds, 2 OB Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and 2 operating rooms. Staff includes a charge nurse, additional staff nurses, and OB technicians working day and night shifts. Equipment used includes GE fetal monitoring systems. The unit operates under policies aligned with AWHONN standards, with weekend and on-call coverage as needed.
