Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Oncology position requiring oncology experience and at least 2 years of current nursing experience.

Details

• Adult Medical Oncology unit within a hospital setting
• 18-bed unit caring for solid tumor patients
• Acute care, Med Surg Telemetry patient population
• Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
• Current BLS certification required
• Oncology experience required
• Minimum 2 years of current nursing experience required
• 1-2 prior travel assignments required
• Experience at a comparable facility size required (500+ bed count for large academic hospitals)
• Alaris pump experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide acute medical oncology nursing care to solid tumor patients
• Orientation held on the 2nd and 4th Monday of the month
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate
