Registered Nurse - Cardiac Med/Tele (Nights)

Schedule

Night Shift: 12-hour shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM. Positions available for 36 or 48 hours per week, including one weekend shift per week or two weekend shifts every other weekend. Candidates must be available to work at least one holiday during the contract period.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Cardiac Med/Tele unit. This facility has 43 beds and is looking for a professional who is flexible and ready to adapt to the needs of the schedule, including potential floating to other units as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in a cardiac medical/telemetry unit.
• Monitor patient vitals and manage medication administration.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to implement and adjust patient care plans.
• Assure compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
• Participate in charge duties and training as necessary.

Required Experience

• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in acute medical-surgical/telemetry nursing.
• 2 years of work experience in the U.S. is required for non-U.S. candidates.

Certifications and Licensure

• Active New York RN license.
• AHA BLS certification.

Assignment Duration

This is a 16-week contract position.
