Description

American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift contract requiring a TX or compact RN license and hospital experience.

Details

• Med/Surg unit (3N) in a hospital setting with 32 beds
• New unit opening with a mix of RNs, LVNs, and PCTs
• Patient ratio of 6:1 on night shift
• Uses bladder scanner, vital sign machine, telemetry, and lift equipment
• Documents in Meditech EMR
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
• Weekend commitment of 4 shifts per month
• No call requirements
• No routine procedures performed on this unit

Requirements

• Active TX or compact RN license required
• Current BLS certification required
• Hospital experience required
• 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg preferred
• 3+ years of nursing experience preferred
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required

• Navy blue scrubs with facility logo required

• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates not accepted
