We are seeking a dedicated Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (MS RN) for a contract position in Dothan, AL. This role involves providing care to a diverse patient population, including adults and geriatrics. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of experience and must hold an active Alabama or Compact License at the time of submittal.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on a Med Surg unit.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including drips such as cardizem, tridil, and amiodarone.
• Maintain patient safety and comfort while adhering to established protocols.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, reporting any changes to the healthcare team.

Shift Information:

• Night 4x12-Hour shifts (19:00 - 07:30) with block scheduling available.

Qualifications:

• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Med Surg setting.
• 1st time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Must be proficient in drips; cardizem, tridil, amiodarone.
• Ratios of up to 1:6-7 are required.
• Radius Rule: No locals - 75 Mile Radius.
• No prior permanent positions for 10 years.
