Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of Cardiac Tele/MS experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• Float Pool assignment requiring floating to other units
• Acute care patient population with average ratios of 1:7
• 495-bed Level II Trauma Center facility
• Uses Epic EMR
• 3x12 day shift schedule, 6:45a-7:15p
• Every other weekend and holiday required
• No on-call responsibilities
• No block scheduling accommodated

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA State or Compact)
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Tele/Med-Surg experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Epic EMR experience required

Additional Information

• Care for acute care patients within a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool setting
• Facility has earned an 'A' grade in Patient Safety for 9 consecutive years
• Scrub color requirement: Navy Blue
• Holiday RTO limited to one holiday request, with no more than two days considered
• Up to 3 preapproved days off allowed, excluding holidays
• Candidates considered within a 50-mile radius in lieu of standard 65-mile rule
• Candidates must be well qualified with all required experience
