Contract | Nights | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry unit during night shift hours
Monitor and interpret ECG cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
Complete required orientation assessments including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate evaluations
Participate in holiday rotation, working at minimum every other holiday as required

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 18 months of recent, permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience
Active permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact state license in hand at time of submission
Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification in hand at time of submission
Active ACLS certification in hand at time of submission
NIH Stroke Scale certification must be obtained prior to start date
Demonstrated Epic EMR experience required

Preferred Experience / Skills

18 months of combined permanent experience within a single Med/Surg Telemetry location
Prior travel nursing experience with familiarity completing pre-start compliance modules
One verifiable professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from within the past 12 months
