Concentric Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Akron, Ohio.

Contract (13–20 week options available) | Nights | 3x12-hour shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical Surgical Telemetry unit during night shift hours
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data for assigned patients
- Administer medications safely and accurately in accordance with facility protocols
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Complete required facility modules and competency assessments prior to and during assignment
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 18 months of recent permanent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Active permanent Ohio RN license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Active AHA BLS certification required at time of submission
- Active AHA ACLS certification required at time of submission
- One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from within the past 12 months
- Must pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (two attempts maximum)
Preferred Experience / Skills
- 18 months of Med/Surg Telemetry experience obtained within a single facility
- Prior travel nursing experience in a telemetry or medical surgical setting
