Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry night shift position requiring 18 months of recent Med/Surg Tele experience and an active Ohio or compact RN license.

Details

• Hospital-based Med/Surg Telemetry unit
• Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00pm-7:30am
• Required to work at least every other holiday
• Locals accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or compact license in hand required
• Minimum 18 months recent Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification preferred
• Recent Epic charting experience within the last 6 months required
• One recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required (charge RN references accepted)

Additional Information

• Provide skilled nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients
• ECG rhythm recognition test and safeMedicate assessment completed during orientation, with an acceptable score required for continued assignment
• 20-week assignment available to provide winter coverage, with 13 to 18-week contracts also considered
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Permanent and per diem candidates cannot return to this health system for 1 year from their previous end date
