Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Telemetry Unit position requiring a minimum of 3 years of telemetry experience and a current NH or Compact RN license.

Details

• 12-hour night shifts in a hospital Telemetry Care Unit
• Telemetry patient population including post-cath, cardiac procedure, and stroke patients
• Experience with TR band management, post-cath care, hemostasis management, and stroke assessment
• Floating may be required to ED hold and ICU/PCU within the same facility, as well as to sister facilities in Laconia and Franklin, NH
• No on-call responsibilities
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license (not a temp license) required at time of consideration
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required prior to start
• Minimum 3 years of telemetry nursing experience required
• Experience managing TR band, post-cath or cardiac procedures, and hemostasis preferred
• Must pass an advanced Dysrhythmia Exam during onboarding with a minimum score of 80%
• Driver's license with address matching demographics on file required
• NURSYS license verification for all active RN licenses required
• 3 professional references required upon commitment (2 must be from leadership)

Additional Information

• Weekly orientation provided upon start
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• Former permanent staff are eligible to return as travelers after a 12-month break in service
