Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Telemetry Float Pool position requiring a minimum of 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience and an active NH or Compact RN license in hand at time of consideration.

Details

• Position is based in the Nursing Float Pool, with potential floating to two additional hospital campuses in Laconia and Franklin, NH
• Med/Surg Telemetry patient population with acuity and ratios consistent with a hospital med/surg unit
• Cerner EMR experience is preferred but not required
• 12-hour night shifts
• No on-call requirements
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted at a local pay rate

Requirements

• Active NH or Compact RN license required — temporary licenses are not accepted
• Required certifications: BLS; NIHSS required prior to start; ACLS preferred
• Minimum 1-2 years of Med/Surg experience required; Critical Care RNs with demonstrated comfort managing Med/Surg acuity and ratios will also be considered
• Driver's license with address matching application demographics required
• 3 professional references required upon commitment, with at least 2 from leadership (Manager or Charge RN; no peers or coworkers)

Additional Information

• Dysrhythmia exam administered during onboarding with a preferred passing score of 80%
• Weekly orientation provided
• Former permanent staff may return as a traveler after a minimum 12-month break in service
