We are currently hiring Medical Assistants in or near Jefferson County, Madison County, and Warren County, Kentucky for a field-based Travel Medical Assistant role supporting patients throughout the state.
This is a statewide Kentucky travel position. While we are recruiting from these specific areas, assignments are not limited to one county. You must be comfortable traveling throughout Kentucky based on patient coverage needs.
This role is focused on preventive care, care-gap support, patient relationships, and accurate documentation, not urgent care.
You'll visit patients in their homes for wellness-focused appointments such as Annual Wellness Visits, Medicare wellness visits, and Well-Child Visits.
You'll be a strong fit if you enjoy direct patient care, can manage your day independently, and are comfortable traveling to different Kentucky markets based on patient coverage needs.

These counties represent our current hiring areas, but your home visits will not be limited to your local county. Assignments may take you to different areas throughout Kentucky depending on patient and business coverage needs.
This role requires travel within Kentucky only. There is no nationwide or out-of-state travel requirement.
Schedules are typically provided about 2 weeks in advance, including where you'll be going, when visits are scheduled, and how long visits are expected to last.
For local or same-day visits, you may use your own reliable vehicle, with eligible mileage reimbursed at $0.725 per mile.
For extended travel assignments within Kentucky, covered travel expenses may include transportation, car rental when needed, hotel, and meals.
The expected total compensation is $31 per hour.
You'll be successful in this role if you can combine strong Medical Assistant fundamentals with the independence needed for mobile care. You'll help patients complete important preventive visits, support better health outcomes, and bring care directly to people who may not otherwise access it easily.
