Job Summary: Medical Surgical Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical Floor at a healthcare facility in Fargo, North Dakota. This position involves providing care for medical-surgical patients, including those with surgical oncology needs, in a 47-bed department. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and adherence to clinical standards within an acute care setting.
Job Details:
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, every other weekend and holiday, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Active North Dakota or Compact State Registered Nurse (RN) license; minimum of 2 years recent Medical Surgical experience working in a hospital with at least 200 beds, including trauma level 2 or higher; experience with surgical oncology preferred; BLS certification from American Heart Association; Epic electronic health record (EHR) experience; minimum of 2 years of Medical Surgical experience.
Float: Float to over units/departments may be required.
Additional Information:
Must have experience with EMR-Epic, AccuDose, Bladder Scanner, Phillips monitors, and telemetry equipment.
Must badge in and out at the facility.
Scrubs prefer Navy Blue.
Candidates must not have lived within 60 miles of the facility at the time of application; local travel rate applies for those living 60 to 80 miles away, with an $8.00/hour reduction.
All clinicians are required to complete lead center training and a 2-shift orientation with a preceptor.
Client may cancel shifts up to 12 hours prior to start every 13 weeks.
