Job Summary:
The Medical Surgical Float Position located in Johnson City, New York, involves providing comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population in a hospital setting. This role requires flexibility to float across various medical-surgical units, ensuring high-quality patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. The RN will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support patient recovery and safety.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, starting on 08/17/2026.
• Required Qualifications: Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; 0+ years of nursing experience; graduation from an accredited Nursing school.
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing; experience in acute care or ambulatory settings; professional nursing certification (e.g., ACLS, PALS).
• Additional Information: The role involves skill verification in cardiac telemetry, medication administration, patient assessments, and collaborative clinical practices. Prior cardiac and telemetry experience is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate strong communication, critical thinking, organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to different medical-surgical units.
