Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nursing opportunity in Waco, Texas. This position involves providing direct nursing care within a 28-bed Renal Medical-Surgical unit, following established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. The role includes implementing and monitoring patient care plans, communicating patient conditions, and coordinating discharge planning with the healthcare team. The position requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced environment.

Job Details:

• Location: Waco, Texas
• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, Bachelor's or Associate degree in Nursing, graduation from an accredited nursing program, Texas nursing license, at least 1 year of nursing experience in medical-surgical or telemetry units
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in Renal units or with electronic charting systems; BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; CPI (Crisis Prevention Institute) training is a plus
• Additional Information: Provides care on a 28-bed Renal Medical-Surgical unit; Navy/maroon scrubs; Epic electronic charting system; strong organizational and clinical skills necessary for patient assessment, care planning, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
