Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse opportunity in Waco, Texas. This position involves providing direct patient care in a 30-bed Surgical, Gastrointestinal, and Oncology unit, with a focus on patient assessment, care coordination, and discharge planning. The role requires adherence to established policies, monitoring patient conditions, and collaborating with healthcare team members.

Job Details

• Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license; Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent; 0 years of experience; work location in Waco, Texas
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Surgical, G.I., or Oncology nursing preferred
• Additional Information: Provides direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. Implements and monitors patient care plans. Monitors, records, and communicates patient conditions as appropriate. Serves as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care. Notes and carries out physician and nursing orders. Assesses and coordinates patients discharge planning needs with healthcare team members. Must have critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
