Job Summary:
Medical Surgical with Telemetry (MS TELE) nurse position available in Iowa. This role involves providing care to telemetry and post-operative surgical patients, including orthopedic and general surgery cases. The position requires experienced nursing professionals comfortable with reading measuring strips and managing various drips such as insulin, Cardizem, Heparin, and Amiodarone. The role offers night shifts starting on 08/24/2026.
Job Details:
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
- Required Qualifications: 24 months of current Medical Surgical and/or Telemetry experience in a hospital or medical center setting; active Iowa or multistate license; skills specific to Medical Surgical or Telemetry nursing; BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association or ARC/Red Cross; valid driver's license; 24 months of current nursing experience; right to work in the United States

- Float: Float rotation may be required

- State Licenses: Iowa license or multistate compact license required
- Submission Requirements: Resume with 24 months of current Med Surg / Tele experience, skills checklist specific to discipline, professional reference within 24 months, active license, and valid drivers license
- Additional Information: Experience with telemetry, reading measuring strips, and management of related drips is required. Experience with EPIC electronic charting system preferred. First-time travelers accepted.
