Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Everett, Washington

Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (06:30 - 19:00), 60 guaranteed hours per 2-week period. Weekend coverage required. Floating to telemetry units may be required based on census.

Highlights:

• High-acuity, fast-paced Medical Intensive Care Unit at a Level II Trauma Center with 571 total beds
• Standard 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio for critically ill patients; may increase to 4:1 for stable boarders awaiting transfer
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, physical therapy, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Advanced procedures including bedside central and arterial line placements, chest tube insertion, rapid sequence intubation, paracentesis, and thoracentesis
• One CNA per shift to assist with patient care
• Epic charting system with 24-40 hours of orientation provided

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 1 year of recent MICU experience required; 2+ years preferred
• Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• 2 hours of stroke-specific education annually
• Epic charting experience required
• Level II Trauma Center experience required
• Experience with 2:1 patient ratios and critical care procedures including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, and management of multisystem organ failure
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the location are not eligible at standard rates
