Key Responsibilities

• Operate MRI imaging and related equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images across various body areas, including advanced study areas
• Interview and educate patients on MRI procedures, addressing concerns with tact and professionalism
• Ensure patient safety through pre-screening for contraindications and proper aseptic injection technique
• Communicate effectively with radiologists and other customers to support diagnostic workflow
• Troubleshoot scanner, peripheral equipment (monitors, PACS, coils, etc.) to minimize downtime and escalate complex issues as appropriate
• Provide on-site guidance and training to new technologists and Patient Coordinators as needed

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• ARRT(MR) certification required
• BLS CPR Certification through the American Heart Association required
• Venipuncture Certification required
• Valid state license as required by state regulations
• Valid state driver's license as applicable

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Associate's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Minimum of 1 year of MRI experience in a high-volume environment
• Proficiency running advanced MR studies independently
• Demonstrated ability to manage customer interactions and resolve issues to mutual satisfaction
