Schedule / Job Type
Contract | Days | Primary schedule Friday through Monday — Friday and Monday 8-hour day shifts (start times between 6:30 AM–8:30 AM); Saturday and Sunday 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). Holidays as needed. No call.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform MRI imaging procedures in an inpatient hospital setting
- Operate within a Radiology/Cardiology department supporting diagnostic imaging needs
- Float to other units or areas as needed
- Adhere to facility compliance standards, including passing required competency assessments prior to start
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) OR ARRT Magnetic Resonance (MR) certification required
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical MRI experience required
- Pass/fail competency testing required prior to start with strict passing criteria
- Must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
Preferred Experience / Skills
- Experience working in a large academic medical center or teaching institution
- Familiarity with inpatient MRI workflows and high-volume imaging environments
