Job Description

Care Career is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Saint Louis, Missouri.

RN-MED SURG/TELE

Schedule

  • Contract Length: 13 weeks
  • Shift: Night shift, 3 × 12 hours
  • Shift Timing: 6:45 PM – 7:15 AM
  • Hours: 36 hours per week
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend, or at least 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
  • Holiday Rotation: Required
  • Floating: Required across medical, surgical, oncology, neuro, renal, and cardiology units
  • Flu Vaccine: Required; medical/religious exemptions allowed

Required Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience
  • Experience caring for adult and geriatric patients
  • Patient ratios: approximately 1:6 on nights and 1:5–6 on days and weekends
  • Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
  • IV starts and maintenance
  • Medical, surgical, oncology, and neuro patient care
  • Must be willing to float within the facility’s service line
  • Previous travel experience is not required; first-time travelers are accepted.
  • EPIC experience is strongly preferred.

Required Certifications

  • BLS
  • ACLS
