Contract | Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 3x12-Hour Shifts) | Onsite | 36 or 48 hours per week available | Block scheduling permitted; every other weekend required

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical / Telemetry Cardiac unit
Administer and monitor cardiac drips including Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone
Manage a patient assignment of up to 6–7 patients per shift
Perform ongoing cardiac monitoring, assessment, and intervention as clinically indicated
Complete pre-start orientation modules and adhere to unit compliance requirements prior to start date

Required Qualifications

Active Alabama RN license (compact or AL-specific) in good standing at time of submission
Cardiac drip experience required (Cardizem, Tridil, and Amiodarone)
BLS certification required
NIH Stroke Scale certification required
Previous travel nursing experience required (highly experienced candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis)
Permanent address must be at least 90 miles from the facility; local candidates will not be accepted

Preferred Experience / Skills

ACLS certification preferred
Experience working in large healthcare facilities preferred
