Contract | Night Shift | 3x12 Hours (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct bedside nursing care for Medical Surgical / Telemetry patients in an acute care hospital setting with a 1:6 patient ratio
Monitor and interpret telemetry, including dysrhythmia interpretation, using bedside monitors equipped with telemetry, blood pressure, and pulse oximetry capabilities
Float within scope of practice to other units as needed to meet facility staffing needs
Participate in every-other-weekend rotation as a non-negotiable scheduling requirement
Collaborate with a 24/7 house supervisor and available off-shift leadership to ensure continuity of patient care
Document patient care accurately using Epic electronic health record system

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Surgical / Telemetry nursing
Active South Carolina RN license or a Compact RN license; license must be in hand prior to start date
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Demonstrated experience with telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias
Ability to fulfill every-other-weekend shift requirement

Preferred Experience / Skills

Prior experience in a community hospital environment
Familiarity with Epic charting system
