Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele night shift position requiring an active Ohio or compact license and 1 year of specialty experience.

Details

• Med/Surg Tele unit within a hospital setting
• Night shift, three 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

Requirements

• Active Ohio or compact RN license in hand
• BLS and ACLS certification from AHA or American Red Cross required
• Willingness to obtain NIHSS certification prior to start
• 1 year of combined permanent Med/Surg Tele experience required
• One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty required, from an assignment worked within the past 12 months
• ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments completed during orientation with acceptable scores required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Expected to work every other holiday
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required, with medical or religious exemptions only
• Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate
• Permanent or per diem candidates cannot return to Cleveland Clinic hospitals for 1 year from their previous end date
• Nicotine-free drug screening requirement is currently waived for nurses
