Shift: Nights | 3x12 | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of MS/Tele RN experience
- Previous Charge Nurse experience required
- Teaching hospital experience required
- California RN license required at submission
- BLS, ACLS & NIHSS required
- Allscripts charting experience required
- Patient ratio experience: 1:4
- Floating required
- Every other weekend coverage
- Must be willing to work holidays
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate
- Travel experience not required
Required Clinical Skills:
- Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
- CVA/TIA and cardiac patient care
- IV therapy, central lines, PICC lines, ports and blood administration
- IV insulin and heparin protocols
- CBI and pre/post-hemodialysis management
- Feeding tubes, PCA and renal failure management
- Ortho trauma, total joint replacement and surgical drains
- Chest tubes, CPAP/BiPAP and HFNC
- Tracheostomy care, ABG interpretation and oxygen management
- Wound care, wound vac and isolation precautions
- Rapid Response/Code team experience
